Asphalt Shingles
Asphalt shingles are the most common roof line we see. What you may not know, is that over time the sun will erode the asphalt, leaving granules that collect in your gutters. Cedar Shakes
Over time, wooden shingles can slowly erode which causes the splitting and dislodging of wooden chunks as well as moss build-up. As a result, we often see wooden chunks lodged into gutters which creates water pooling. Moss will also erode and collect in gutters while attracting insects and pests.
